Antares have championed the use of the Cyclic Duty Gel batteries on specialist vehicles. They are particularly suited in applications where the 500+ full depth of discharge cycles make the "cost per cycle" very cost effective. Our range covers 40Ah to 260Ah. We have extensive experience of engineering these batteries into vehicle systems.
The Antares range of Gel batteries are designed to be used where the battery is expected to be repeatedly charged and discharged, as part of its normal operation. Gel's are particularly suited to operating voltage sensitive loads such as inverters. The battery "holds up" the voltage for longer giving greater usable capacity.
