The basic 2+2 Automatic Transfer Switch allows power to be safely switched between any two AC input sources (typically a landline and a backup inverter) and two outputs (often “essential” and “non-essential” loads) . The 3+3 Automatic transfer switch switches between 3 sources—typically a shoreline, an on-board gen-set and a back-up inverter.

Either unit can be used in conjunction with shoreline, traditional generating sets, combination inverters/chargers and belt or hydraulically driven generators.

Using the two types in conjunction or “daisy chaining” them enables complex systems to be accommodated. Either unit can be configured for 230VAC or 110VAC use.

The protection module completes the picture making an easy to install safe and reliable system.
