Calor came to us with a trial project to automate their existing pneumatic system using ES-Key as a controller.  The purpose was to use the advanced logic and timing available in the supernode to reduce the pneumatic complexity.

This delivery vehicle operates in an ATEX environment at the tank farm and whilst filling must be electrically inert. However when delivering at the clients home it requires operation via a remote handset.

Antares reproduced a full system design specification from the existing all-pneumatic operation and then implemented it with the ES-Key Pro Software.  This thorough engineering process enabled operator manuals to be checked and rewritten.  It also highlighted the need for two logic states in regard to the airbrakes during filling/delivery or in transit.  The design addressed this via a combination of pneumatics and electronics.
