Incident Messaging System
The Environment Agencies duty to “warn and inform” is being tested in Hebden bridge. The Antares Incident Messaging system is used to be quickly deployed on standard fleet vehicles thereby freeing up valuable technical resources. The system provides pre-recorded preset messages which can be broadcast in the event of flooding or other incident. It is also ideally suited to crowd control at major incidents.

Quiet, Compact and Pre-Engineered Genset

The heart of a Command and Control is usually the power to make it operate. On Command and Control vehicles this power comes from an auxiliary diesel generator. Antares, in partnership with Fischer Panda UK, supply the benchmark engine in terms of quietness, size and quality engineering. Specifying a FP engine means that you have taken out the worry of the installation and can have confidence in being operational anywhere, at any time, even in residential areas.

SVO Fitted Split Charge
Antares were one of the first companies to campaign to eliminate diode and D+ type split chargers. Though inexpensive, they were unsuitable for situations where the ignition was left on without the engine running and for auxiliary batteries which were being cycled. The automatic split charge, shown here fitted on a Honda civic, is still one of the leading professional units. It has been upgraded to a computer controlled system called the ASC+. This can carry out a wide range of tasks from split charge, assured start, isolation, deep discharge and load shed, and can be triggered from other vehicle systems if required.
