Basic Split Charge Systems- - Easy to fit split charge system
It is simple to safely keep batteries isolated from one another when the engine is not running, thus preventing accidental draining of the vehicle battery. This is done by using a relay that is activated from the alternator. This simple circuit is commonly known as a Split charge.
Our Split Charge is virtually 100% efficient and with no voltage drop, this allows the full charging voltage available from standard alternators to quickly recharge the batteries.

ASC+ Engine Start Protect - Make sure you batteries never go flat!
This system is used on starting batteries, to protect against discharge levels where the cranking is endangered. A permanent fused feed through is offered to power feeds such as clocks, radios and central locking which would normally require resetting if disconnected.
The unit comprises of a high performance latching contactor, a control box and dashboard isolator switch assembly and all connecting looms. It provides a timed auto isolation after a preset period of inactivity, and a manual on/off control.
Simple to install, the start protect isolator provides a complete solution to ensure the engine can crank at all times.

ASC+ 12/24V Jump-Start -24V jump start from a 12V vehicle!
The ASC+ jumpstart automatically and safely creates a 24V jump-start feed from a 12V vehicle at the push of a button.
After use, the system is reverted to 12V to allow fast recharging from the vehicle alternator. An audible and visual warning ensures that you know it is in 24V mode. Simple to fit and operate, it is the automatic answer for 12V support vehicles servicing a 24V fleet!
The system consists of two main parts: a jumpstart enclosure which safely switches the two auxiliary batteries from the parallel 12V charging configuration into a 24V series configuration and a priority split charge to firstly charge the vehicle battery and then charge the jump-start batteries.

ASM3 (Auxiliary System Manager 3) is the latest offering from Antares. This system offers all the benefits of the original Mercedes Ambulance Power pack, but is designed in a modular way and can be easily standardized across the entire fleet.
Many new improvements include an innovative “electronic virtual alternator” which avoids a control connection into the vehicle standard alternator; a “limp home” capability ensuring that failure of one part will not effect the general ability of the vehicle to return to base; a very low quiescent draw whilst in use or in isolation and full protection of auxiliary batteries from deep discharge damage.
The system is suitable for any emergency vehicle application or any fleet where reliability and longevity is a priority, and by specifying the third-party equipment that is added to the vehicle, the fleet manager is in total control of the integrity of battery management of the vehicle and the associated reduction in operational costs.
