Engine Driven AC Systems

Providing large amounts of AC power whilst on the move is difficult. If the power required is low enough, it can still be practical to use an inverter and a set of batteries. For continuous powers above 2kW you you now have an alternative to an onboard genset; the belt driven Dynawatt (2-5kW) or the PTO driven Dynagen (7-30kW) . They are light and compact and can produce power directly from your main vehicle engine using a separate dedicated generator.

The Dynawatt systems are well proven in the most extreme applications and are commonly fitted to fire trucks to drive lighting and power tools, in utility vehicles to drive specialist equipment and many other applications where AC is needed such as civil defence and outside broadcasting.

Dynagen PTO Power System is new to the market in the UK and being launched at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2008 at the NEC in Birmingham.
