The Engine Start Protect system is used on starting batteries to protect against discharge to levels where the cranking is endangered. It provides a timed auto isolation after a preset period of inactivity, and a manual on/off control.
A permanent fused feed through is offered to power feeds such as clocks, radios and central locking which would normally require resetting if disconnected.
The unit comprises of a high performance latching contactor, a control box and dashboard isolator switch assembly and all connecting looms.
Simple to install, the start protect isolator provides a complete solution to ensure the engine can crank at all times.
